The short answer
Which codes you need depends on the remote in your hand, not just on the television. This page lists every verified code we hold for Sharp TVs, grouped by the remote that uses them — One For All's published Contour TV list and Jasco's four GE code-list versions. Find your remote below and work down its codes in order.
Sharp's entry overlaps heavily with other manufacturers — 2676 with Toshiba and Hitachi, 2402 and 3719 with Panasonic. That is a sign of widely shared command sets rather than a problem with the list.
If your remote is neither a One For All Contour TV nor a GE remote, the codes on this page will not program it — every manufacturer indexes its own table. Use the search method instead, which needs no list: it walks the remote's own codes until the television responds.

Codes are only meaningful to the remote whose table they come from. A GE code will not program a One For All remote and vice versa, and GE's own four versions — CL3 to CL6, printed inside the battery compartment — are not interchangeable with each other either. Always use the block that names your remote.

Press and release the device key (TV, AUD, DVD or SAT).

Enter the 4-digit code from the list. The indicator blinks once per digit.

Press POWER. If the device turns off, press SET once to lock the code in.

Every Sharp TV code on this page

Aquos sets
If your television carries the Aquos name it comes from the period when Sharp engineered its own sets, and the earlier codes in the entry are the ones to try first.
Sharp's television name has since been licensed to other manufacturers in several markets, so a recent Sharp-badged set may share its command set with whoever built it rather than with Sharp's own heritage.
Sharp Roku TV models
Several Sharp-badged sets ship with Roku TV as the interface. The Sharp codes still apply, because the smart platform sits on top of panel electronics that answer to the same commands.
The clearest difference is the input key: on Roku TV it returns to the home screen, where inputs appear as tiles, rather than opening a source list. That is platform behaviour, not a near-miss code.
When it doesn't work

Expected on Sharp Roku TV models — the platform has no separate source menu. Your code is working; navigate to the input tile with the arrow keys.
The TV responds slowly or misses presses
Older Aquos sets have a comparatively slow infrared receiver and drop commands sent in quick succession. Press keys deliberately rather than rapidly.

What is the universal remote code for a Sharp TV?
On a One For All Contour TV the published Sharp codes are 1659, 3810, 2676, 4843, 2402, 2214 and 3719, in that order.
Do Sharp Roku TV models need a different code?
No. The Roku platform controls the interface, not the infrared receiver, so the standard Sharp codes apply. The input key behaves differently because Roku TV has no separate source menu.
Do I have to re-enter the code after changing the batteries?
On almost every modern remote, no. Codes are held in non-volatile memory and survive a battery change. If power and volume stop working immediately after a battery swap, re-enter the code — a few older models do lose their programming when left without cells for several minutes.
