Universal remote codes for Mitsubishi TVs

The short answer

The Mitsubishi TV codes on this page come from RCA, One For All and GE's published lists, grouped by remote. Find your remote's model, version or revision in the battery compartment, then try that list's Mitsubishi codes in order.

162 codes listed30 remote modelsUpdated how we check

Codes belong to the remote, not the equipment: each remote maker publishes its own list, and a code from one list won't program another maker's remote. Use the block below that names your remote.

If your remote isn't listed, or none of its codes work, use its code search. The guide to programming a universal remote without codes has the manufacturer's steps for GE, One For All and RCA remotes.

Try these codes first

21711

First code in the list for the Revision R271U1 / R271U2.

33411

Second code in the list for the Revision R271U1 / R271U2.

90919

First code in the list for the Revision R341U1.

20011

Second code in the list for the Revision R341U1.

1250

First code in 6 of the lists below, including the Revision 31794.

0093

Second code in 4 of the lists below, including the Revision 31794.

Code lengths in these lists (RCA: 4 and 5-digit; One For All: 4-digit; GE: 4-digit). Codes only work on the remote whose list they come from, so use the block that names your remote and enter each code exactly as it's shown.

Mitsubishi TV codes by remote

Find the block that names your remote. Codes are not interchangeable between remote brands — each one indexes a different internal table.

Revision R271U1 / R271U2

All RCA codes →

Programming sequence

6 steps
  1. 1

Find the revision number under the battery. RCA identifies your code table by revision, not by model number.

  2. 2

Look your device up in the list for that revision. Codes do not carry between revisions.

  3. 3

Switch the device on manually and point the remote at it.

  4. 4

If your remote has a CODE SEARCH key: hold CODE SEARCH until the indicator light turns on, press the device key (the light blinks, then stays lit), and enter the code exactly as your revision's list shows it. The light turns off.

  5. 5

If it has no CODE SEARCH key, as on the D770 and D771: hold the device key down, enter the code, then release it.

  6. 6

Aim the remote at the device and press POWER (ON•OFF). If nothing happens, try the next code for your brand. Your owner's manual has the exact sequence for your model.

Every Mitsubishi TV code on this page

All 57 unique codes, shortest first. A code only works on the remote whose list it comes from, so use the tables above when your remote is listed.

Brands whose codes overlap with Mitsubishi

Counted inside each remote's own list. Of the 104 Mitsubishi code entries listed under 10 brands or fewer, these brands share the most. If your remote's list has no working Mitsubishi code, these brands' codes in the same list are the ones worth trying.

When it doesn't work

No code from your remote's list works

Check you're using the list for your remote's model, version or revision. Jasco looks GE codes up by the CL version under the batteries, and RCA by the revision number under the battery.

Some buttons work, others don't

Jasco says some codes operate only a few of a device's functions, and RCA says different codes give different levels of functionality. Try the next code in your remote's list.

The GE remote's light doesn't behave as described

Jasco says this is most commonly caused by bad batteries, even brand-new ones. Try a different set before changing codes.

Still nothing? Work through the full diagnostic — it starts by proving whether the remote transmits at all.

Mitsubishi TV remote code FAQs

What is the universal remote code for a Mitsubishi TV?

On a One For All Contour TV, One For All's published Mitsubishi codes are 0556, 1037, in that order. RCA and GE remotes use their own lists, shown on this page by version or revision.

Which button do I program for a Mitsubishi TV?

Follow the steps for your remote shown beside its codes. On GE remotes, Jasco says any device button can be programmed to control any compatible device.

Do I have to re-enter the code after changing the batteries?

It depends on the remote. RCA's D771 manual, for example, notes that reprogramming may be required after the batteries are replaced, so write your code down once it works.

Where do these codes come from?

From the manufacturers themselves: One For All's published code list for the URC 1210 Contour TV, Jasco's published lists for GE remotes in versions CL3 to CL6, and RCA's code finder by revision number. Each table links its source document. Codes we cannot trace to a manufacturer are not published here at all.
