How to reset TCL TV

Restart before erasing your setup
- On Google TV, open Settings → System → Restart.
- If the menu is frozen, disconnect power for one minute, then reconnect and try again.

How to factory reset TCL TV
Before you confirm
A factory reset removes saved accounts, apps and personal settings from the TV. Have your Wi-Fi password and account sign-in details ready before you confirm it.
TCL Roku TV
Settings → System → Advanced system settings → Factory reset → Factory reset everything
- Follow the on-screen confirmation instructions.
To restart first without erasing the TV, use Settings → System → Power → System restart.
TCL Google TV
Settings → System → About → Factory reset
- Confirm the reset on screen; enter your PIN if asked.
Some software versions place Factory reset inside an additional Reset menu under About.

TCL Fire TV
Settings → My Fire TV or Device & Software → Reset to Factory Defaults
- Read the confirmation prompt and confirm only when ready to erase the TV.
After the reset
Complete setup for the operating system you selected, reconnect the network and sign back into your apps. For a TCL Roku TV without menu access, follow the physical-button instructions in TCL's Roku source above.
