How to reset Hisense TV
Sources checked · how we check
Hisense TVs do not share a single reset procedure. Identify the operating system from your home screen or manual first. The VIDAA example below comes from the Australian U7G manual, not the US model with the same series name.
01 · Start here
Restart before erasing your setup
- On Hisense Google TV models with this menu, open Settings → System → Restart.
- Let the TV restart and check whether the problem returns. For other Hisense platforms, use the restart instructions in your model manual or the related Roku TV / Fire TV guide below.
02 · Factory reset
How to factory reset Hisense TV
Before you confirm
A factory reset removes saved accounts, apps and personal settings from the TV. Have your Wi-Fi password and account sign-in details ready before you confirm it.
VIDAA (Australian U7G example)

Frequently asked questions
Why do Hisense reset instructions show different menus?
Hisense uses several TV platforms. Even a series name can refer to different software in different regions, so match the operating system and full model number.
What if my Hisense runs XClass or another system?
Use its specific manual. The VIDAA, Google, Android, Roku and Fire TV examples here do not cover those interfaces.
