How to reset Roku streaming player

01 · Start here

Restart before erasing your setup

Open Settings → System → Power → System restart. If Power is missing, choose System restart directly under System.

02 · Factory reset

How to factory reset Roku streaming player

Before you confirm

A factory reset unlinks the player and clears apps, account information and preferences. Have your Roku account, Wi-Fi and streaming-app credentials ready before starting.

Working remote or Roku app

Settings → System → Advanced system settings → Factory reset

Open that menu path and follow the on-screen confirmation instructions.

Unresponsive player

Player Reset button · about 10 seconds

With the player powered on, locate its Reset button on the back or bottom. It may be recessed.
Hold it for about ten seconds; release when the status light flashes rapidly.
