- Disconnect the stick's power cable or adapter, wait three seconds, then reconnect it.

02 · Factory reset
How to factory reset Fire TV Stick
Before you confirm
Resetting removes account information and downloaded content. Safely eject expandable storage first. Watch the confirmation screen: leaving it unanswered can start the reset automatically.
From Settings
Settings → My Fire TV → Reset to Factory Defaults
- Open Settings, then My Fire TV.
- Choose Reset to Factory Defaults and respond to the confirmation.
Using the remote
Back + Right · 10 seconds
- Hold Back and the right side of the navigation ring together for ten seconds.
- Follow the reset prompt; cancel promptly if you do not want to erase the device.
After the reset
Follow the on-screen remote-pairing instructions when the reset finishes.
