How to reset Google TV

01 · Start here

Restart before erasing your setup

  1. Open Settings → System → Restart. On Chromecast with Google TV, select Restart again.
  2. Alternatively, disconnect the device's power for one minute and reconnect.

02 · Factory reset

How to factory reset Google TV

Before you confirm

Factory reset permanently clears device data.

Rear button · 10–12 seconds

  1. With power and TV connected, hold the rear button for 10–12 seconds. Release at steady white after yellow flashing.
