How to reset Wyze camera

These steps are for Wyze Cam v3, not Cam Pan v3 or every Wyze camera. Identify the model before pressing Setup.

01 · Start here

Before resetting your device

  1. Unplug Cam v3 for about 30 seconds, then reconnect.
  2. If it remains unresponsive, try a different power cable, adapter or outlet.

02 · Factory reset

How to factory reset Wyze camera

Before you confirm

Remove the microSD card before resetting. Factory reset clears the camera's settings file and restores defaults.

Wyze Cam v3

Powered camera → Bottom Setup button

  1. With the microSD card removed and camera powered, hold Setup for 10 seconds.
  2. Wait at least 30 seconds; initialization can occasionally take up to five minutes.
  3. When the status light changes from solid red to flashing red, start setup again.
