Before resetting your device
- Read the model label, find the matching group below, and turn on the soundbar.

02 · Reset and reconnect
Reset and reconnect your LG soundbar
Before you start
Use only the matching model procedure. The bar powers off during initialization.
SH5, SH7, SH8, SJ5, SJ7, SJ8 or SJ9
Bar Volume Down + remote Sound Effect
- Hold the bar's minus button and the remote's Sound Effect button together for more than five seconds.
- Expect E2P CLR followed by power-off.

Bar Volume Down + remote 0
- Hold those two buttons for more than five seconds until E2P CLR appears and the bar switches off.

SK10Y or SK8Y
Bar Wi-Fi button · more than 5 seconds
- Hold Wi-Fi on the bar for more than five seconds; look for E2P CLR and power-off.

After the reset
Turn the bar on again and check operation.
