Restart before erasing your setup
- For an unresponsive Galaxy Watch, hold Home (Power) and Back together for at least seven seconds.
- Release both when the Samsung logo appears.
02 · Factory reset
How to factory reset Samsung Galaxy Watch
Before you confirm
A factory reset removes personal watch data. Back up first. LTE service may need carrier reactivation, and recovery can require the Samsung account already associated with the watch.
From the connected phone
Galaxy Wearable → Watch settings → General
- Choose Reset, then confirm Reset and complete any additional prompts.
After the reset
Reconnect through Galaxy Wearable and follow setup. If giving the watch away, remove its Bluetooth pairing from your phone.
