Use the case-based procedure below for the Pixel Buds covered by Google's reset guide. Both earbuds must be seated correctly.

- Check that both earbuds are seated securely in the charging case before starting.
02 · Reset and reconnect
Reset and reconnect your Pixel Buds
Before you start
This clears device settings and preferences. On Pro 2 and Buds 2a, it also resets Find Hub location capability.
Reset earbuds and charging case
Powered open case → pairing button · 30 seconds
- Forget Pixel Buds in the phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Connect USB-C power to the case, seat both earbuds and keep the lid open.
- Hold the rear pairing button for 30 seconds. Release when the earbud status light stops bouncing and goes out.
- Wait through orange/white flashing until the light bounces white again.
After the reset
The returning white animation means the earbuds are ready to pair.
