How to connect Sony headphones

Sources checked · how we check

Sony headphones enter pairing mode on their own the first time you turn them on. To add another phone or computer later, put them into pairing mode by hand and select them in that device's Bluetooth settings.

01 · Before you start

Check these first

  1. Charge the headphones and keep them within 1 m (3 feet) of the phone or computer.
  2. Pairing mode times out: if pairing isn't done within 5 minutes, it's cancelled and you need to start again.
  3. The headphones remember up to 8 devices. Pairing a ninth replaces the one you connected to longest ago.

If it still won't connect

Bring the headphones within 1 m (3 feet) of the device and make sure they're in pairing mode. If you've reset or repaired the headphones, delete their old pairing from the phone or computer first, then pair again. Still stuck? Restart the phone or computer and try again, then reset the headphones, and as a last step initialize them.
