How to connect to a Sonos speaker
Sources checked · how we check
Sonos speakers connect to your Wi-Fi through the Sonos app, not your phone's Bluetooth menu. Some models, including Roam and Move, can also pair by Bluetooth once they've been set up on Wi-Fi.
01 · Before you start
Check these first
- You need the Sonos app on an iOS or Android device, and a Sonos account.
- Connect the speaker to power and wait for its light to flash green.

Bluetooth: Sonos Move

To go back to Wi-Fi, press the Bluetooth button again. The light flashes white, then turns solid white.
If it still won't connect
If the speaker's light isn't flashing green when you try to add it, Sonos says to reset the product and then add it. If a speaker that was already set up has disappeared from the app, follow Sonos's guide for products missing from the Sonos app.
