How to connect AirPods to an Android phone

Sources checked · how we check

AirPods work with Android phones as a regular Bluetooth headset. Put them into pairing mode using the button or gesture for your model, then pick them from the phone's Bluetooth list.

01 · Before you start

Check these first

  1. Turn on Bluetooth on the phone. On a Samsung Galaxy, go to Settings → Connections → Bluetooth.
  2. Put the AirPods in their charging case. AirPods Max don't have a case to open.
  3. On an Android phone you can listen and talk, but Siri isn't available.
