How to turn off a Casio calculator

Casio scientific calculators have no separate off button. Off is the second function of the AC key, reached with SHIFT.

02 · Change the setting

fx-82MS, fx-85MS, fx-220 PLUS, fx-300MS, fx-350MS
Off: SHIFT → AC (OFF) · On: ON
- To turn it off, press SHIFT, then AC (OFF).
- To turn it on, press ON.
It also turns off by itself after about 10 minutes of non-use.

Casio says it also turns off by itself after about 10 or 60 minutes of non-use.
If the setting doesn't change
If the calculator seems to be off already, it may have turned itself off: Casio says the fx-82MS series switches off after about 10 minutes of non-use. Press ON to start it again.
